Open Enrollment Programs
Open enrollment certificate programs offer short-term courses in various fields. They are designed for individuals who want to enhance their skills or learn new ones. These courses are available online or in-person, are flexible, and provide an opportunity to network with professionals in the field. They are a cost-effective way to gain specialized knowledge and are a great option for individuals who want to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
In such an arrangement, the University lists programs licensed by SkillServe on their website and recruits’ students for non-credit bearing courses. SkillServe provides instructors / SMEs that are vetted by the University to teach these courses. Students attend these courses online or in person at the University and receive a Certificate of Completion from the University (that is endorsed by / powered by SkillServe).

Custom Programs
Custom programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of an organization, allowing them to learn at their own pace and focus on areas most relevant to their goals. These courses offer a flexible and effective way to improve technical skills and stay ahead of the curve in today's rapidly changing technological landscape.
Similar to open enrollment programs, the University offers programs licensed by SkillServe to their corporate / institutional partners. SkillServe provides instructors / SMEs that are vetted by the University to teach these courses. Students attend these courses online or in person at the University or in the office locations of the client and receive a Certificate of Completion from the University (that is endorsed by / powered by SkillServe).
Degree and Degree Boosters
Degree Program Offerings:
In a unique offering, SkillServe has designed and developed new Masters degrees that can be licensed to Universities to offer to their existing students or prospective students. SkillServe will provide detailed curriculum and course outlines for review and approval per university governance processes. SkillServe will identify faculty who will be vetted by the University and serve as adjunct faculty of the University and teach the program either virtually or in-person.
Degree Booster Programs:
Degree booster programs are designed to help individuals enhance their knowledge and skills in a particular field, while also boosting their career prospects. They provide learners with an opportunity to increase their expertise in a particular area, thereby making them more marketable to prospective employers. Many degree booster programs are offered online, making them flexible and convenient for working professionals. Some programs also offer certification or accreditation, which can further enhance an individual's resume. These programs are typically not offered by universities and are taught by industry experts or SMEs and are applied in nature.
Apprenticeship Programs
Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training and classroom instruction to provide a flexible and affordable path to a career in tech. With hands-on experience and mentorship, apprentices gain practical skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. These programs help address the skills gap in the tech industry and offer opportunities for career advancement.
The partnership between employers and universities is essential for the success of apprenticeship programs. By working together to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded training experience, they can help apprentices develop the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to succeed in the tech industry.
SkillServe will provide the framework and assist in seeking out apprenticeship programs and provide the program license and instructors for the instruction on behalf of the university.
